Another trial of Chicken Cordon Bleu

Trial? What kinds of trial I am talking about? And what's Cordon Bleu in the end of this title? Making French cuisine again? Yes. I am.. And it's my second time making this Chicken Cordon Bleu since my last making for my mum's birthday that day. What's Chicken Cordon Bleu actually? Let me explain the whole process of making it.

Chicken Cordon Bleu, is simply a cuisine from French. A texture of chicken breast combine with ham and cheese. So let's figure out how the recipe works~

Chicken Cordon Bleu

4 Serving Size

4 Boneless Chicken Breast
500g Mozarella Cheese
4 Chicken Ham
Black Pepper
Custard Powder
2 Eggs

Some useful knifes

So for me I get myself sometime to understand and learn how to make Chicken Cordon Bleu successfully. I get recipes from websites, youtube and asking people for techniques to cook it. However, my friends, it's a simple and yet delicious dish after I made it. Here's a video of how it really makes.

Video of How to make Chicken Cordon Bleu.

And yes I did have hard time to make it though. Putting the cheese, ham onto the chicken breast and roll over using chicken breast meat, which is not easy to do it. And I had myself with this kind of rolling technique though.
And I skip the refrigerator one, as the purpose of putting it inside is to make the black pepper and salt nourish throughout the whole chicken breast meat. After finishing rolling all the chicken, it's time for me to start pan fry it. I prefer not to fry with lots of oil because it's oily if not well fried. So, what you need is to mix the eggs in a bowl, which means mix egg white and egg york in your bowl. Surface your chicken both sides with egg mixture and replenish it with custard powder over the meat. Next, surface once more on your existing custard powdered chicken roll with egg mixture once again, and covered it with breadcrumbs.
After you had done all the chicken rolls, time to pan fry it. :P And this is where I pan fry my Chicken Cordon Bleu.
Next, after you pan fry it, time for putting it into oven..setting around 180 degree Celcius for 15 minutes

And Tadaaa... Here's the result of Chicken Cordon Bleu from my auntie's Signature cheese pulling.
Enjoy and thanks for viewing this blog. xD
